Karine Bagdasaryan

Karine Bagdasaryan is an architect with a Summa Cum Laude distinction from ETSALS (2022) and a Master´s in Architecture (2023). She has worked in cities such as Yerevan, Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Riga, and Barcelona, contributing to both personal and professional growth. Key projects include Feeding the City - 2050, presented at the Tallinn Biennale (2022), and the Guéridon Bas 402 model exhibited at La Caixa Forum (2021). She has received multiple awards, including 1st prize for academic achievement in 2022 and 2023, 1st place in ephemeral access design at the MIRA Festival (2019), and winning the competition to construct the Pavilion Shelter for Meeting (2016), organized by the French Institute in Saint-Étienne. Her work has been featured in Latvijas Architektūra (2017), and she participated in the Light Festival in Riga. Karine has international experience at Didzis Jaunzems Architecture (2017) in Riga, contributing to urban, landscape, and scenography projects. She collaborates with Josep Ferrando Architecture in Barcelona on various competitions, executive projects, and temporary installations. She also gained teaching experience at ETSALS University as a Teaching Assistant in Construction Workshops, Sustainability Unit (2022-2023), and Project Studios (2021-2023).
