Teaching Activity

Associate professor at La Salle–URL since 1993, teaching courses in electronics and computer peripherals. His teaching combines technological fundamentals with extensive professional experience in research, development and the management of high¿level industrial engineering projects.

Research and Transfer Activity

His work focuses on electronics engineering, advanced sensing technologies and the development of systems applied to large¿format and 3D (additive manufacturing) printing. He is inventor or co¿inventor of more than a dozen patents granted by the U.S. Patent Office in the fields of electronic system architecture, sensing technologies, control methods and industrial printing processes. He has authored several technical publications related to the optimization of professional printing technologies, with contributions applicable to both large¿format printing and additive manufacturing.

Professional Activity

With more than three decades of engineering experience, he has developed most of his career at HP Inc. (formerly Hewlett¿Packard), where he has held leadership roles in research, technology development and multidisciplinary engineering management. Since 2022 he has served as 3D Printing EE Engineering Manager, leading the development of electronic subsystems for polymers and metal 3D printers. Previously, he worked as WW Applications Manager, R&D Engineering Manager and Senior R&D Engineer, driving global innovation and digital transformation projects. He began his career as a design engineer at Soling S.A., working on electronic product development.

Honors
Inventor or co¿inventor of 14 patents, responsible for several additional filings and author of six defensive publications on printing technologies and applied electronics.
