Professor

Josep M. Rio is a part-time lecturer at the Engineering Department of La Salle-Ramon Llull University (Barcelona, Spain) where he teaches courses on Power Electronics and Computer Peripherals. He received his degree in Technical Telecommunications Engineering (BSc equivalent) and a degree in Electronics Engineering (MSc equivalent) both from La Salle-Ramon Llull University.
He develops his professional activity as R&D Manager at the Large Format Printing division of HP Inc. (Sant Cugat, Spain). He previously took Electronics´ Architect and Senior R&D Engineer roles at this same company. He has published articles on printer sensors and printing technologies and is listed as inventor or co-inventor on more than a dozen of patents in the fields of electronics, sensors and printer technologies.
