Jordi Feixas i Roigé is Professor of Political Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy of La Salle Campus Barcelona - Ramon Llull University. He is a member of the FiloCultura Research Line within the Smart Society Group, where his work focuses on the history of contemporary political philosophy, with particular emphasis on the relationship between democracy and liberal education grounded in the study of great books. He was visiting scholar at Boston University and has participated in international conferences in Spain, Italy, and the United States. He currently serves as Head of the Department of Philosophy and Humanities.

Teaching Activity

Professor of Political Philosophy at La Salle Campus Barcelona – Ramon Llull University. He teaches undergraduate and master’s courses in the fields of the history of political ideas and contemporary political philosophy.

Research Activity

His research focuses primarily on the history of contemporary political philosophy. He has studied in depth the works of Leo Strauss (1899–1973) and Alexis de Tocqueville (1805–1859), as well as worked on several major authors of the conservative philosophical-political tradition, especially in the Anglosphere. Currently, within the framework of the FiloCultura Research Line of the Smart Society Group, he studies the relationship between liberal education based on great books and democratic politics.
