Joan Ramon Regué received the technical telecommunication engineering degree, the electronics engineering degree, and the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from Enginyeria i Arquitectura la Salle, Ramon Llull University (URL),in 1995, 1998, and 2005, respectively.
In 1996, he joined the Communications and Electromagnetics Research Group (GRECO) at Enginyeria i Arquitectura La Salle URL, where he currently teaches Electromagnetic Theory, Radiocommunications and Electronic Measurements. He was Secretary of the Local Organizing Committee of the EMC Europe 2006 International Symposium on Electromagnetic Compatibility, held in Barcelona in September 2006. His research interests include electromagnetic compatibility (especially radiated and conducted emissions), instrumentation and measurement systems, and electromagnetic optimization using metaheuristic methods.
