Teaching Experience
He is currently a Full-Time Associate Professor at La Salle Campus Barcelona – Ramon Llull University, where he has taught courses in applied mathematics for engineering, digital signal processing, and digital television. Since 2011, he has coordinated the Bachelor´s Degree in Audiovisual Systems Engineering. He has supervised five doctoral dissertations and numerous undergraduate and master´s theses.
Research Activity
Researcher in the Technology Enhanced Learning research line and collaborator in the Acoustics and Audio research line, both within the Human-Environment Research Group. His research focuses on educational innovation, acoustic modeling of emotional expression, and bioacoustics. He was previously a member of the Technology Enhanced Learning Research Group (GRETEL).
Professional and Technology Transfer Activity
He worked as an R&D engineer at CIBERVEU SA (1991-1994), a company dedicated to speech technologies for people with disabilities. He also worked for two years (1995-1997) at NexTReT as a technology consultant in the university´s technology transfer department.
