His research focuses on image processing and coding, audiovisual and multimedia technologies, digital platforms and interactive systems, as well as technological innovation applied to animation, VFX, and digital arts. He has produced more than thirty scientific publications in the fields of digital imaging and multimedia, and has participated in or led over fifty R&D and industrial projects, contributing significantly to technological transfer and collaboration with the audiovisual and technology industries. His scientific leadership includes serving as General Co-chair of the IEEE International Conference on Multimedia and Expo (ICME 2011), one of the leading international conferences in the multimedia field.
