Ignacio Herrera (Felipe Ignacio Herrera, 1989) is an Argentine visual artist currently based in Barcelona, Spain. His practice encompasses traditional and digital drawing, painting, and sculpture, with a strong interest in realism, the anatomical study of the human body, and the psychological and transpersonal dimensions of art. He holds a degree in Visual Arts from the National University of Córdoba (2018) and has furthered his training in anatomy and academic realism at institutions and workshops in Argentina, Spain, and Italy, including studies at the Angel Academy of Art (Florence) and training programs with artists such as Golucho, Antonio López García, Jorge Abbad, and César Santos. He also specialized in digital sculpture and 3D modeling for printing and kinematics at the Fabio Nishikata Academy. His work has been exhibited in Argentina, Italy, and Spain. He has received acquisition prizes in regional painting competitions, was a finalist in contests such as PremioBArte, MOD Portrait (Barcelona/Zaragoza) and Target Prize ´ International Painting Contest (2025), and has participated in publications such as "El color del monte". He currently combines his work as a teacher, sculptor and 3D character artist, with the active development of his personal work.
