Carles Enrich Giménez

Architect by the ETSAB in 2005, towards an architecture understood as a superposition of layers rooted in the landscape, lead him to shape his research vocation through teaching, being associate professor of Projects at the ETSAB since 2016. Between 2008 and 2017 he was professor of Projects and Urbanism at the School of Architecture of Reus and in 2015 professor of Projects at the ETSAV. He has also been visiting professor at the Extralocal workshop organized by the Columbia GSAPP in 2019, he has collaborated in international masters such as BIARCH in 2012, the Master of Restoration of the UPC in 2014 or has directed the Vertical Workshop of the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture in 2018.
Carles Enrich´s aim to create knowledge based on practice led him to found Carles Enrich Studio in 2013, where he develops projects that cover the entire habitable territory, from the domestic sphere to the landscape. The quality and rigour of his built work is endorsed by the consecutive nominations for the EU Mies Award 2017, 2019 and the Debut Award of the Lisbon Triennale in 2016; the Spanish Architecture and Urbanism Biennial Awards in 2016 and 2018, the FAD Opinion Award in 2016 or the AJAC Awards in 2012, 2016 and 2018.
