Alejandro Tomás Egea is a Biomedical and Telecommunications Engineer with a strong academic background and a focus on innovation, leadership, and multidisciplinary problem-solving. He graduated with academic excellence from Universitat Rovira i Virgili, completing a double degree in Biomedical Engineering and Telecommunications Systems, with top distinctions in Digital and Analog Electronics and Programming. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering at La Salle Barcelona, specializing in Project Management.

He has developed a versatile professional profile combining research, teaching, software development, and technical operations. He currently works as a Research Support Engineer, contributing to engineering R&D projects, while also serving as a university lecturer in Local Area Networks, teaching entirely in English.

His experience includes an internship at Neuroèpia, where he worked on MATLAB-based signal processing for neonatal sleep cycle detection and contributed to electronic circuit design for biomedical devices. He has also developed an Android application for public transport systems using Kotlin.

Additionally, he has hands-on experience in technical and operational roles, including real estate project support and medical logistics coordination, managing on-site systems and workflows in dynamic environments.

He complements his experience with personal projects in IoT, cloud systems, and renewable energy, such as remote weather monitoring and standalone photovoltaic systems.

With a proactive mindset and strong analytical skills, Alejandro is prepared to contribute to innovative engineering projects and demanding technical environments.
