Alejandro González received the Electronic Engineering degree from the National University of Colombia (Bogotá) in 2010. He completed a Master´s Degree in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2011. He received his PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2015. Since 2016, he has been a professor and researcher in the engineering department of La Salle - Ramon Llull University. Currently, he holds the position of academic coordinator of the degree in electronic engineering. In 2020, he was positively evaluated as a Lecturer by AQU Catalunya. He has authored or co-authored more than 35 publications in international journals and conferences. He has participated in several R&D projects and his scientific work focuses on computer vision, image processing and analysis, information extraction and analysis in multimodal system.
