PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
In 1977 he settled in Barcelona and was part of the Berenguer group together with Jorge Pensi, Norberto Chaves and Oriol Pibernat with whom he designed SIDI, a platform for the international launch of Spanish design. This group combines the teaching and theory of design with practice. During these years he designed in tandem with Jorge Pensi. In 1984 he created his own studio, dedicating himself mainly to product design, consulting and art direction of various companies, including Perobell and Andreu World.
In these years his research led him to experiment with new techniques and materials such as the log. In 1991, Jeannette Altherr (Heidelberg, Germany, 1965) and Manel Molina (Barcelona, ​​1963) joined the studio and it was renamed Lievore-Altherr-Molina. His best-known designs include the Manolete armchair (1988) and the Rothko armchair (1989).
