NIR-VANA

La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL participates in the EU NIR-VANA project, started in May 2016. The objective is to develop online services that help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to innovate with external partners. La Salle-URL is the responsible for developing the online platform aimed at being the formative basis on concepts of innovation, and for face-to-face training in the different events organised.

During the process, the advisors in innovation present the services through an online platform where SMEs can collaborate, co-create and co-participate in projects with other SMEs, experts and researchers from all over Europe. This training is mainly based on the premise that ideas and technologies that generate new products and processes arise from the collaboration with different actors throughout the value chain. The ability to work together with other companies, customers, suppliers, distributors, traders, users and researchers from an innovative and collaborative approach is the key factor that allows a well-established system of innovation management.

Nowadays, the existing services for the support of innovation are insufficient, moreover since the creation of partnerships lacking of continuous monitoring, efficient methods of support and management capability of innovation. In addition, there are online tools ranging from social networking to new developments for innovation. However, despite this, such tools are unknown or useless for the SMEs. Therefore, NIR-VANA develops an online solution based on a training focused on focused on new and existing technologies and platforms, and also takes into account the culture of innovation in SMEs and their preparation for ICT. These last months there have been several launching events and on 22 and 23 May La Salle-URL will host the event.
