Professors, former students and representatives of La Salle-URL recalled the figure of Dr. Alfred Bonavida, a historic professor on the Campus and a benchmark in the field of acoustics. The tribute was held on June 16 at the La Salle-URL Auditorium and was attended by many professionals from the world of audiology thanks to the collaboration of the Salesa Hearing Institute and its president, Enrique Salesa, who worked for many years with Bonavida.
The event served to premiere the documentary Bonavida, a life dedicated to science that reviews the professor's career through the testimony of many of those who knew him, some of them members of La Salle-URL. The work, which has been directed by the professor and alumni of La Salle-URL José Luis Molero, explores the contributions of Alfred Bonavida in subjects in which he was a reference: voice analysis, audiology and speech therapy, among others.
The Germà Josep Martí, commissioner of Identity and Mission of La Salle-URL and one of the main personalities of acoustics in Catalonia, led the event and recalled the work of Professor Bonavida, with whom he collaborated for a long time in all kinds of projects and initiatives. After the screening of the documentary, the attendees had the opportunity to recall anecdotes and experiences about the honoree in a meeting space.
