La Salle Campus Barcelona, a founding member of Universitat Ramon Llull, celebrated the talent and excellence of its students at the scholarship award ceremony for the 2025-26 academic year. The event, promoted for the first time on campus with a cross-disciplinary approach encompassing undergraduate and master’s degrees, was titled La Salle-URL 2025-26 Excellence and Talent Scholarships Ceremony and brought together students, families, company representatives and members of the La Salle-URL educational community.
In the words of Dr. Rosa Ma. Alsina, Provost of La Salle-URL: “At La Salle Campus Barcelona, we work to ensure that talent is not limited by personal circumstances and that students can develop their future projects. This commitment is part of our identity and our responsibility as an educational institution with a humanistic and transformative vocation”.
The event, hosted by Ms. Nina Hofmann, Head of the General Management Office, was attended by institutional representatives from La Salle-URL as well as representatives from several companies collaborating in La Salle-URL’s scholarship programme, including Nestlé, NTT Data, Allianz Technology, Avanade and Caixa d’Enginyers. During the ceremony, several figures were also shared to illustrate the campus’ commitment to quality and accessible education through the scholarship fund of the Brothers of the Christian Schools and partner companies, with more than 2,500 scholarship students and €7.9 million invested in scholarships during the 2024-25 academic year.
In the closing remarks, Br. Dr. Josep Espuny, delegated president of the Board of Trustees of FUNITEC, the foundation of the Brothers of the Christian Schools of the Arlep district, Catalunya sector, responsible for La Salle Campus Barcelona, highlighted the meaning of scholarships for the campus: “We understand education as a tool for personal and social transformation, a conviction that our institution has upheld and strengthened for more than three centuries. This vision is part of our identity and remains fully relevant today. Scholarships represent precisely that, a very tangible way of turning our educational mission into real impact”.
With the awarding of these scholarships, La Salle-URL reinforces its commitment to excellent, accessible university education connected to the major challenges facing society. Faithful to an educational tradition spanning more than 300 years and driven by an innovative and international outlook, the campus continues to promote talent, personalised support and equal opportunities as the core pillars of its educational project, educating professionals and individuals capable of generating a positive impact on their environment and contributing to a fairer and more sustainable world.
