La Salle-URL begins its Summer School dedicated to architecture, robotics, animation and management

For two weeks 46 young people aged 15-18 and 10 nationalities will participate in the four specialized courses offered.

Between the 2 and the 14 of July 46 young people between 15 and 18 years participate in the Summer School Barcelona 2.017 of the Salle-URL. The Summer School has a clear international accent, they are taught in English and more than half of the students are from outside Spain from countries like Turkey, Russia, China, the United States, Colombia, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy and France. All of them will be staying during the two weeks in the Campus and they will complete the formation with a set of activities programmed in the free time and the weekend.

Summer courses are aimed at pre-university students who want to deepen in some of the four areas they deal with: architecture, robotics, animation and business for the future.

  • Animation Course, Create your character! Which offers the possibility to learn techniques of modeling, animation, lighting and visual effects that are used for series production, application of digital visual effects and audiovisual content and video games.
  • Be an Architect in Barcelona will be a hands-on experience in the architecture of the City of Barcelona where students will have to work on a project to imagine, design and build a building.
  • How can I make a social robot? How to make you feel emotions? How can I feed information through the connection with social networks? The future is bringing robots into everyday life and we can all be an active player in this future. These robots are becoming social, which means they are having social behaviors just like humans or animals
  • In the business sector, La Salle-URL proposes the Business for the Future course, where students will learn the techniques of leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, digital marketing, etc. applying new technologies in the business world, to be prepared For the challenges of the future.
