La Salle Technova Barcelona put in progress the 3rd edition of its pre-acceleration program for ICTs

La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL, through its innovation park La Salle Technova Barcelona, ​​launched the third edition of its pre-acceleration program “Technova PreAccelerator” on February 27th.

This year, the program is targeted at all those entrepreneurs who have a project in the ICT sector. Its objective is to turn an idea into a business in the space of 10 weeks. The program is run in collaboration with the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce and is funded by the European Social Fund.

Some of the start-ups which competed in the first and second editions of the program and are still going strong today include Washbits (a software to manage dry cleaners), Chris&Chloe (a project which offers designer clothing for a monthly fee) and pickapp (an application which enables you to find people to play basketball with). The projects are being mentored by La Salle Technova Barcelona and one might even incubate the business in our technological park.

Technova

This pre-acceleration program is aimed at people with an entrepreneurial spark and can cater for 10 teams. During the 10-week process, the participants will take training sessions and have personalized mentoring sessions in order to define their business model and its feasibility in the market. The objective is to make participants aware of what has to be undertaken, to minimize risks and increase the chances of success.

The participating entrepreneurs can move into the offices of La Salle Technova for 10 weeks and during this time they will have access to all the services and organized activities. Furthermore, on completion of the program, the best projects of the program will receive 3 months’ free mentoring.

Candidates can apply up to February 15th and the program will kick off on February 27th.
