La Salle Technova Barcelona launches an acceleration program for startups in the logistics market

The program is jointly promoted with Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona. The first participants will be 12 emerging companies around the world that will be selected during the SIL-eDelivery Barcelona fairs

La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL, through its innovation park La Salle Technova Barcelona and together with the Consortium of the Free Trade Zone of Barcelona, launches the acceleration program of logistics startups, eDelivery Accelerator. This program is aimed at innovative startups in the logistics market with B2B and B2C projects and lasts for 22 weeks. This alliance will facilitate contact and the subsequent relationship of the start-ups with other companies in the sector and also with investors that finance their growth.

The first participants will be the 12 startups from around the world, international and local, that have been selected to participate in the Start-up Connection Hub that La Salle Technova organizes at the eDelivery Barcelona fair between June 5 and 7. These companies participated in an appeal to 500 startups around the world, related to "disruptive" areas such as the use of blockchain technology for the traceability of products. At first the companies will be located in the facilities of the innovation park of La Salle-URL.

The objectives of the accelerator are to improve the ability to carry out business initiatives and start new innovative projects and provide the necessary tools to identify, develop and create market opportunities. The methodology of the program is divided into three parts: "training", where methodology sessions are held, practice sessions of Business Model Canvas development and learning by doing activities; "Corporate", where startups approach companies for collaborative purposes and challenges are solved; and "investors", where specialized investors guide and advise startups.

The eDelivery Accelerator will validate the start-up business model for its scalability, consider internationalization strategies (Born Global Company), connect with corporations so that they can validate their value propositions (Golden Reference), prepare and connect with them Venture Capital Funds to invest in companies.
