La Salle-URL, the first level of formal qualifications in Catalonia with Animation & VFX, participating for the third consecutive year at the international fair b'Ars with different activities. During the four days there will be lectures by artists and professionals from around the world to discuss the latest projects of the year, explained the tricks of artists and attendees can meet and ask them for their work; will also be launching a Job Fair where students and professionals can share their work with partner companies; Sunday 11 June and will be open day, where La Salle will also be present with a physical space explain their projects in this field.
New this year during the week of June 5 programmed a series of workshops in different parts of the city. Friday June 9 La Salle URL-host the workshop by Colin Doncaster on "Creative Coding Using Unity", a very popular tool for game developers. Doncaster is a technologist who enjoys creative visual storytelling. With over 20 years experience in producing VFX and animation, has worked on projects such as The Lord of the Rings or Avatar.
B’Ars
The b'Ars also incorporates b'Ars & d, a new event in the fair which tool developers can present their latest tools and R & D potential customers to interact and make personal presentations.
And also in the b'Ars, Friday 9 June at 17:30 at the Safety Forum will be the ceremony of prizes to winners of a scholarship for the first year of the Bachelor of Animation & VFX La Salle with the participation of its director, and the show, Fèlix Balbàs.
