Jungheinrich and La Salle – Universitat Ramon Llull sign an agreement to develop talent and enhance students’ employability

The agreement connects university education with industry experience to bring students closer to the challenges and opportunities of the professional environment

La Salle – Universitat Ramon Llull, an internationally renowned university institution encompassing seven areas of knowledge, and Jungheinrich, a leading provider of intralogistics solutions with more than 50 years of experience in Spain, have signed a collaboration agreement to promote talent development and enhance students’ employability.

The agreement, which is part of the La Salle-URL Partners programme, will connect university education with the professional environment and give students the opportunity to gain insight into the knowledge and experience of the intralogistics sector. As part of this collaboration, Jungheinrich professionals will participate in events, masterclasses, talks and sessions, sharing practical case studies and applied knowledge with the campus community.

Our collaboration with Jungheinrich allows us to bring the company’s knowledge and experience into the classroom while also creating new opportunities for our students to explore the professional world, develop their talent and prepare for the challenges of an ever-changing environment. Connecting universities and industry is our way of enriching learning through different perspectives and creating new opportunities for our students
Josep M. Santos, General Director of La Salle – Universitat Ramon Llull

The agreement also gives La Salle-URL students the opportunity to apply for the Jungheinrich International Graduate Programme (JIG), an international programme aimed at postgraduate graduates that combines theoretical and practical training, participation in projects across different areas of the company and potential international placements.

Connecting young talent with Jungheinrich’s corporate ecosystem not only allows us to showcase our company and attract potential future employees, but also opens the door to developing training projects together with students that can provide us with an external and disruptive perspective on real-world case studies. This is particularly valuable because it stimulates our capacity for innovation and helps us respond to the challenges of the market
Mark Wender, Managing Director of Jungheinrich Iberia

This collaboration expands opportunities for connection between university and industry, giving students the opportunity to complement their education with experiences linked to the professional world, discover new perspectives within the sector and explore opportunities to develop their talent.
