This morning, a meeting was held at La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL, and attended by Josep M. Santos, the General Director; Josep Maria Garrell, the Rector of Ramon Llull University; José Román Pérez, Visiting Brother from the ARLEP district and President of the Board of Trustees of FUNITEC; and Brother Josep Canal, acting as President of the Board of Trustees representing the Visiting Brother of La Salle.
Coinciding with the celebration of the 300 year anniversary of La Salle taking place this year, the different institutional representatives from URL and the La Salle network came together to share their visions of the future of the University and how La Salle Campus Barcelona can adapt to new realities in terms of both technology and methodology and the different ways people now relate and understand the world, with a particular focus on young people's education. The meeting has also explored the identity of universities inspired by Christian values in a global world and the process of internationalisation of our institutions in an increasingly changing world.
