The Board of Trustees of FUNITEC, the foundation of the Christian Brothers that manages La Salle Campus Barcelona, held its second meeting of the 24-25 academic year to review the evolution of the campus in recent months. The meeting also serves to analyze the process of defining the new Strategic Plan for Institutional Development, the roadmap that will outline the campus's future lines of action, focusing on its commitment to environmental impact, sustainability, and the student experience as a central pillar.
During the meeting, the annual accounts and the audit report are presented, while the General Management of the campus provided an update on the evolution and closing forecasts of the current academic year (24-25), as well as an initial overview of the budgetary framework for the next academic year (25-26). Is was also reviewed the evolution of some of this academic year's main projects, the deployment of technological initiatives linked to the new Strategic Plan, the growth forecasts for both students and groups - and how this affects the campus spaces - and the work being carried out in relation to the global network of La Salle universities.
In this regard, the meeting served to discuss the new La Salle Business School Alliance, the global business school created within the framework of the IALU and led by the La Salle-URL International Faculty of Commerce and Digital Economy. The development of the district university project, which includes the La Salle campuses in Barcelona and Madrid, has been also reviewed, along with all the social action and cooperation activities undertaken by La Salle Campus Barcelona.
The FUNITEC Board of Trustees meeting was attended by the President and the President Delegate, Brothers Esteban de Vega and Josep Espuny, respectively. The rest of the trustees also attended: Julio González, Javier López, Pere Vivancos, Josep Martí, Juan Carlos Jara, Esteban Miguelez, Francisco José Chiva and Ramon Sangrà. In addition, several members of the La Salle Campus Barcelona Management Team participatedt, including General Director, Josep M. Santos.
