Experts analyze the progress of technology in the health sector

The round table is held within the framework of the informative session of the degree in Health Engineering

​La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL organizes a meeting with experts to analyze the progress of technology in the health sector. The round table is held within the framework of an informative session on the new degree in Health Engineering, jointly launched by La Salle-URL and Blanquerna-URL, which will take place on May 11 from 6:00 p.m.

Ana Ripoll, president of Bioinformatics Barcelona (BIB), Núria Pastor, founder and CEO of HumanITCare, and Francisco García, director of Digital Transformation at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona, ​​will participate in the round table. The session, which will be moderated by Roger Mallol, coordinator of the degree in Health Engineering at La Salle-URL and Blanquerna-URL, and Joel Montane, professor of the Blanquerna-URL Degree in Pharmacy, will deal with three key issues in the sector:

  • The main technological challenges applied to health.
  • Professional opportunities in the sector.
  • The skills and abilities of a student interested in health sciences.

In the first part of the session, before the round table, Roger Mallol and Joel Montane will present the characteristics and peculiarities of the new degree in Health Engineering. Once the round table is over, the academic team, the speakers and the admissions team will answer questions from the attendees.
