La Salle-URL is hosting the ENGAGE.EU Summer School 2026, an international academic programme that brings together bachelor's and master's students from several European universities. From 13 to 24 July, under the title Barcelona as a hub of innovation and culture: The legacy of global events, the campus will offer a learning experience taught entirely in English, awarding participants 4 ECTS credits upon successful completion.
Hosting this Summer School reinforces the commitment of La Salle Campus Barcelona and the Universitat Ramon Llull to ENGAGE.EU, the European university alliance supported by the European Commission to foster international cooperation, educational innovation and the development of future leaders capable of addressing today's major societal challenges. Within this framework, the programme will take advantage of Barcelona's designation as World Capital of Architecture 2026 to explore how architecture, culture, technology and the economy have contributed to transforming the city into an international benchmark for innovation and global events.
The ENGAGE.EU Summer School also stands out for its commitment to transdisciplinarity through the participation and collaborative work of faculty members and students from the four schools and faculties of La Salle-URL: the Higher Technical School of Architecture, the Digital Engineering School, the International School of Commerce and Digital Economy, and the Faculty of Philosophy.
The programme combines academic sessions, case studies, workshops, site visits and lectures by experts with cultural activities and international networking opportunities, providing participants with a comprehensive understanding of contemporary urban challenges and Barcelona's transformation from complementary perspectives.
