La Salle Campus Barcelona, a founding member of the Universitat Ramon Llull, is hosting the Education and Artificial Intelligence conference, which brings together experts from different fields of knowledge to analyze the uses of this technology and the ethical implications that arise from it in the education sector. This event, organized by the FiloCultura research line of the Smart Society group and in collaboration with the Observatory of Ethics and Artificial Intelligence of Catalonia (OEIAC), is held at a time of change in which the development of this technology is shaping the beginning of a new era of profound changes.

The conference will take place in the Sala de Graus on the campus on February 20 at 6:00 p.m. and will feature prestigious speakers from different disciplines: Elisabet Golobardes, Vice-Rector for Academic Planning and Quality and Digital University of the URL; Rosa Ma. Alsina, Director of Research and Innovation of La Salle-URL; Carles Llinàs, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy of La Salle; Joan Manuel del Pozo, Professor at the University of Girona; and Ulises Cortés, Professor and Researcher at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia – Barcelona Supercomputing Center. The moderators of the round table are Armando Pego, professor at the Faculty of Philosophy of La Salle; and Albert Sabater, Director of the OEIAC.

This event is open to the entire community of La Salle and the Universitat Ramon Llull.
