The Corporate Board Council of La Salle Campus Barcelona celebrates its annual council

The members of the council assess the future life of the Corporate Board Council and review the current documents and projects.

The Corporate Board Council of La Salle Campus Barcelona held its annual meeting in the Sala de Congressos of the campus. The meeting was a new opportunity to bring together company and university representatives to take stock of the axes, projects and milestones that the CBC has achieved in just two years of existence. At the same time, the new members were welcomed: SAP, Allianz, Parlem Telecom and Factor Energia.

The Corporate Board Council continues to grow and demonstrates the relationship that La Salle Campus Barcelona maintains with businesses, working together to develop entrepreneurship and economic and social cooperation to have a positive impact on society. The growth is demonstrated by the numbers: in September 2022 the CBC was established with 15 founding members and currently there are 32 companies, foundations and institutions that make it up.

The project is growing in the number of partners and, at the same time, is evolving in its initiatives: during the annual council, the composition of the various bodies and commissions of the CBC was reviewed and the success of CBC News, the quarterly magazine that acts as the Corporate Board Council main communication channel and which already has seven editions, with the eighth on the way, with interviews, news and other content linked to the relationship between the business world and the university.

In this way, CBC members were able to learn how La Salle-URL is growing with new spaces and students, and that last academic year closed with more than 7,900 students enrolled in all the programs taught on campus. In addition, many of these students are having their first contacts with CBC companies with visits to facilities and meetings that allow them to discover first-hand the day-to-day life of top-level companies.

Finally, the attendees gave a very positive assessment of the ACEEU Entrepreneurial University accreditation recently received by La Salle Campus Barcelona, which makes it the first Catalan university to achieve it and is a reinforcement for the institution's third mission: train innovative and entrepreneurial people.
