Congratulations, graduates!

La Salle-URL celebrates the Graduation Ceremonies of the 2024–2025 graduating classes of all undergraduate degrees

The students who are completing their undergraduate studies this year at La Salle Campus Barcelona, a founding member of the Universitat Ramon Llull, celebrated their Graduation Ceremonies for the 2024–2025 academic year on June 26 and 27. These two events marked the culmination of their academic and personal journeys on campus. Accompanied by family members and educators, the graduates now begin to look toward the future, knowing they are part of La Salle’s network and history.

Graduating students included those from the Architecture degrees, offered by the School of Architecture; the Engineering degrees and the Animation & VFX and Digital Arts degrees, all offered by the School of Engineering; the Business & Management degrees, taught by the International Faculty of Commerce and Digital Economy; and the Philosophy degrees, taught by the Faculty of Philosophy.

More than 400 students took part in the celebrations. In addition, nearly 1,500 family members and guests attended the ceremonies at the La Salle Bonanova Theatre, and many more followed the events online via streaming. The ceremonies were also attended by faculty, academic coordinators, and tutors, as well as administrative and service staff — all of them dedicated educators at La Salle-URL.

The ceremonies were attended by Josep M. Santos, General Director of La Salle-URL, who encouraged the students with these words: “In a world full of challenges, find the opportunities and remember everything you have learned and how you have grown on campus.” Also in attendance were the Deans and school Directors; the Academic Directors, Degree Directors, and Coordinators; as well as two representatives from the Universitat Ramon Llull: the Rector, Josep Rom, and the Vice-Rector for Academic Planning and Quality | Digital University, Elisabet Golobardes.

In addition, both ceremonies featured an honorary sponsor, the person who serves as the patron of the graduating class. The two professionals who sponsored the 2024–2025 graduating cohorts of La Salle-URL were:

  • Ramon Miranda, Technology Innovation Officer for Europe at Avanade (Graduation Ceremony for Engineering, Animation & VFX, and Digital Arts)

  • Esteban Bretcha, CEO of Simon (Graduation Ceremony for Architecture, Business & Management, and Philosophy)

Both expressed great emotion and pride in taking on the role of sponsor for the different graduating classes of La Salle-URL, and their words inspired the graduates as they embark on their professional journey.
