La Salle Campus Barcelona, founding member of the Universitat Ramon Llull, has celebrated the Graduation Ceremony for the master’s and postgraduate students of the 2024–2025 academic year. The celebration, held at the campus Sala de Congressos, was divided into two events: one for the Business & Management programs and another for the Architecture, Engineering, and Philosophy master’s and postgraduate programs. In total, more than 1,000 master’s and postgraduate students successfully completed their studies in the various programs offered by the campus.
The General Director of La Salle Campus Barcelona, Josep M. Santos, addressed both graduation ceremonies, congratulating the students and encouraging them to work toward making the world a better place: “You have reached this point after a demanding journey, full of challenges, discoveries, and learnings that have helped you grow. You have shown effort, perseverance, and commitment — values that define who we are as a university community.” The sponsor of the graduating class, and therefore of both ceremonies, was Ramon Miranda, former Technology Innovation Officer Europe at Avanade and independent AI advisor. Miranda encouraged the students as they begin this new stage: “Beyond knowledge, what will truly make you stand out are the values that will guide you to be part of the change society needs. These are the values that will make the difference in your journey.”
First ceremony: Business & Management students
On the first day, 604 students from the Business & Management postgraduate programs, offered by the International School of Commerce and Digital Economy La Salle-URL (FICEDLS), graduated. 250 students attended in person, while 40 graduated via streaming. More than 600 guests attended on campus, and over 1,000 viewers joined the live stream during the event.
The Dean of FICEDLS, Chris Kennett, along with master’s coordinators, professors, and other members of the campus community, took part in the ceremony to celebrate the students, who completed an important academic and personal stage and are now part of La Salle Campus Barcelona’s network and history.
Second ceremony: Architecture, Engineering, and Philosophy students
The following day, 450 students graduated from the master’s and postgraduate programs in Architecture, offered by the La Salle-URL Higher Technical School of Architecture (ETSALS), Engineering, offered by the La Salle-URL Digital School of Engineering (ETSELS), and Philosophy, offered by the La Salle-URL Faculty of Philosophy (FFLS). 222 students attended in person, and 30 graduated online via streaming. Additionally, nearly 600 guests attended on site and around 2,000 viewers followed the event online.
The ceremony was attended by Jesús Vilar, General Secretary of the Universitat Ramon Llull; Josep Ferrando, Director of the School of Architecture; Guiomar Corral, Director of the School of Engineering; and Carles Llinàs, Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, along with professors, master’s coordinators, professional association representatives, and other campus figures.
In total, over the two days of graduations, more than 2,000 people —including graduates, professors, families, friends, and other members of the La Salle-URL community— gathered on campus to celebrate, pay tribute, and share moments that close one chapter and open a new one, in which graduates will always retain the bond and support of La Salle Campus Barcelona.
