Engineering has been part of La Salle's history for 60 years. Six decades in which technology has profoundly transformed the way we communicate, work and understand the world, and in which generations of students, alumni, academic staff, researchers and professionals have contributed to advancing this history.
On 12 November, we want to celebrate this journey with the entire community and, at the same time, look to the future.
It will be a gathering to reconnect, share memories and stories, recognise the people who have been part of these six decades and reflect on the challenges that will shape the future of engineering.
During the event, we will revisit some of the voices and moments that have shaped these 60 years and premiere the audiovisual piece that journeys through the School's six decades through the eyes of its protagonists.
60 years. 6 decades. A new era.
From the telecommunications that began to connect the world to the artificial intelligence that is transforming it today. Technologies, challenges and professions have changed, but one question continues to guide us: what can we do with technology to understand and improve the world?
60 years on, we continue to look forward.
Let's celebrate the journey we've been on. Let's open a new era.
