La Salle Centro Universitario Madrid and La Salle Campus Barcelona are holding the 2nd La Salle University Conference at the Madrid campus, a gathering that will bring together faculty, researchers, students and university leaders to explore the Lasallian identity and reflect on how it can illuminate the university’s mission in today’s world. The 1st La Salle University Conference was held at the Barcelona campus in May 2024.
La Salle university institutions have always been committed to providing an excellent education rooted in the values of their mission and identity. The social and institutional changes of recent years have led us to renew the Charter of Identity of a European Lasallian University Institution (2025), in order to offer an educational response to the challenges of our time. The new Charter is an invitation to shared reflection and, at the same time, a call to decisively embrace the responsibilities and commitments that arise from it.
On 9 and 10 April, the Madrid campus will host a keynote lecture on the roots of the Lasallian educational style and seven thematic panels, corresponding to the seven sections of the Charter of Identity, with two participants from each institution, fostering dialogue and collaborative development.
