MCM students present the Dystopia project at the Convent of Saint Augustine

From 12 to 14 July MCDM students have Dystopia at the Convent of Sant Agustí.

From 12 to 14 July, the students of the Master's Degree in Multimedia Creation (MCDM), Lesslye Barajas,Anna Carsi DurallMiguel Ángel MurgueytioAna Inés PereyraRafael Suárez and Arturo Aguilar, exhibit the Dystopia project at the Convent Cultural Center of Sant Agustí, An artistic and interactive piece framed as the Final Master's Work (TFM). Taking advantage of the impact that audiovisual media cause for the transmission of social and technological issues, La Salle has been considering the realization of this work.

 

With the collaboration of Oscar Martínez, representative of the Convent of San Agustín Civic Center, and David Miralles and Alun Thomas, professors of La Salle-URL and tutors of the TFM, presents this artistic work that mixes elements of interaction, visual And sounds to create an immersion experience that seeks to raise awareness about the moment of sociocultural and technological inflection in which we are. It aims to show users a physical representation of the future to create a framework of opinion on the negative consequences of technology control and the independence of software as a thinking and decision-making entity that gives rise to Dystopia.
