Unai Diaz Orueta

PhD in Psychology from the University of Deusto-Bilbao, in 2006. Experience as a clinical psychologist since 2000 at the Crownsville Hospital Center, Crownsville, Maryland, USA (2000-2001), Hospital de Bermeo, Spain (2001-2002), Residencia de la Loma, Castro-Urdiales, Spain (2003-2005) and Zutitu SL (2005-2006). From 2007 to February 2008, I taught several courses of maintenance of cognitive functions, personal well-being and laughter therapy for the elderly, within the IPACE company of Vitoria. From February 2008 to May 2012, I worked as a research psychologist at Fundación INGEMA, in various projects related to aging and physical disability. Since May 2012, I worked as a researcher in the Department of R + D + i of Nesplora SL, and since May 2014, I combined my work in Nesplora with that of collaborating professor in the Master of Neuropsychology and Education of the International University of Rioja (UNIR) From February 2016 to January 2018, I have worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Nursing and Human Sciences, Dublin City University (Ireland). Since February 2018, I work as a professor in the Department of Psychology, Maynooth University, Ireland.
