Ricardo Flores Gomez
ACADEMIC DEGREE:
Architect from the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urbanism of Buenos Aires (1992) and Master in Urbanism from the School of Architecture of Barcelona, ​​where he had the opportunity to work with Manuel Solá Morales, who was also director of his final thesis: "Institutional Spaces"
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
In Buenos Aires he collaborated in various Argentine studios such as Aslan & Ezcurra Assoc., Y Baudizzone, Lestard, Vars, Archs. between 1989 and 1993. In Barcelona he collaborated in the office of Enric Miralles, participating in numerous projects, until 1998 when he established the Flores & Prats studio together with Eva Prats.
The practice of the Flores & Prats study is characterized by the projects of the Public Administration, awarded through Public Competitions. These projects include public and residential buildings, as well as the design of public spaces and exhibitions for important cultural institutions such as the Tàpies Foundation, the Miró Foundation and the Center for Contemporary Culture of Barcelona. His work has received numerous awards.
He is currently a member of the Editorial Committee of Le Carre Bleu / Feuille Internationales d´Architecture.
