Ramon Martín de Pozuelo holds a MSc in Telecommunication Systems and Network Management and a PhD in Information and Communication Technologies and its management from the La Salle School of Engineering - Ramon Llull University, Barcelona. Since 2008 he has been a researcher in the Engineering Department of La Salle, where he has worked in the area of ​​media, networks and security, and is currently part of the research group on ´´Internet Technologies and Storage (GRITS)´´. He has extensive experience in coordinating research projects at national and European level in different fields, especially in the design of heterogeneous data networks and information and security systems for Smart Grids and Smart Cities. Since 2018 he combines his collaboration as a researcher at La Salle with his work in the CaixaBank Digital Security department, as Project Manager in the Technological Fraud Detection and Prevention and Security Innovation & Transformation environments.
Combining his research side with teaching, he is a lecturer on various engineering master degrees at La Salle. Morover, he is the Coordinator of the Master in Technologies for Smart Cities and Smart Grids, where he also teaches classes on "IoT, networks and security" and supervision of the students´ master´s thesis.
