Maria A García Corretjer

With a double university degree of Fine Arts and Industrial Design from Rhode Island School of Design, Marialejandra García Corretjer has had seven years of design experience implemented within brand strategizing, Global trend research, human centered experience projects and entrepreneurial ventures. From working in an art gallery, a growing start-up in Boston, USA, to Telefonica I+D in Barcelona, she has simultaneously earned two masters. Her first masters was in Research for Design and Innovation at ELISAVA and the second was Masters in Creation,Multimedia Design and Serious Games from La Salle campus URL. In consequence, she became a recipient of the Unió Europea Fons Social Europeu aid to pursue a doctorate. Throughout her entire career her focus has been on understanding people, their needs and developing projects that better their relationship with interactive, smart objects.
