Luis Santamaria Calvache

Luis Santamaria was born in Linares (Jaén) Spain in 1959. He studied Psychology at the University of Barcelona (UB), graduating in Psychology, in the clinical specialty.
For over 30 years working in the pharmaceutical industry, at Hoechst, ConvaTec (Bristol Myers Squibb) and LEO Pharma, developing jobs as a drug salesperson, marketing professional, training manager, Marketing Director, Sales Director and Director of the Business Unit.
In the academic section, for more than 20 years he has been associate professor at the BSM (UPF) in the Master of Pharmaceutical Marketing, and in recent years associate professor at La Salle Barcelona, ​​at the eMBA Business Management and at the IQS at the Marketing degree, both business schools of the Ramón Llull University, with the subjects of Strategic Sales Management and Neuro-sales respectively.
Since 2012 he has dedicated himself to delving into psychology, coaching, emotional intelligence and neuroscience, areas that can help to understand human functioning, both at a managerial and commercial level.
