Gloria Fernández Somoza

She is a Doctor in Art History from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2001) and holds a Master´s degree in Cultural Management from the Ortega y Gasset Institute (Universidad Complutense de Madrid, 2005). She works as the coordinator and as a teacher of the Degree in Digital Arts at La Salle Ramon LLull University. As a researcher, she has focused on the meaning of the artistic image and its contextual relationship in space, with the intention of understanding the work in its cultural, social and artistic environment. She is the author of numerous publications on the subject and guest speaker at national and international conferences. Her work in the artistic field has also been developed from the perspective of heritage and curatorial management, as well as from the university academic management in degrees related to art and design.
