David Marès Ylla

ACADEMIC DEGREE: Architecture Studies at ESTAB (UPC) 1996. ACADEMIC CATEGORY: Associate professor PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: He works in different architecture studios: Carles Ferrater, Alfred Arribas, and Carlos Zapata in Miami. Subsequently he founded the architectural studio Callís Marès arquitectes in Girona. In the professional activity has done all kinds of work, private and public, highlighting the offices of the Fundació el Molí d´en Puigbert in Palafolls, the sports hall of Bonmatí, changing rooms and sports facilities in Girona and the installation works management of the Generalitat de Catalunya in Girona. He is currently making a Hotel, Casa Cacao, for El Celler de Can Roca in Girona. TEACHING EXPERIENCE: From 1998 to 2007 he is a professor at the Department of Installations of the ETS of Arquitectura La Salle (URL), Barcelona. And in course 2016-2017 he returns to teach. The course 2002-2003 he teaches classes of Projects at the ESARQ, the International University of Catalonia. From 2006 to 2015 he is a professor of architecture at the University of Girona UdG, in the area of drawing and later in the area of facilities and sustainability. He also collaborates with different project workshops.
