What do I need for admission to the doctoral studies?

The general access requirements for doctoral studies are established by Royal Decree 1393/2007 or the Royal Decree 99/2011.

  • Undergraduate degree (University graduateArchitect, Engineer, Diplomat, Technical Architect, Technical Engineer) +  Master’s degree PhD (Official undergraduate studies with 300 ECTS or more of which at least 60 should be at master’s degree level)
  • Undergraduate degree (University graduateArchitect, Engineer, Diplomat, Technical Architect, Technical Engineer) +  Master’s degree PhD (DEA)
  • Undergraduate Degree with a minimum of 300 ECTS + Master’s degree PhD (Complementary courses)
  • Undergraduate Degree  with a minimum of 300 ECTS + Master’s degree PhD(the study program of the corresponding degree qualification includes research training credits, of an equivalent level and value to the research credits from a master’s degree).
  • Doctor 
  • Undergraduate degree (Hold a qualification obtained in accordance with foreign education systems equivalent of an official Spanish Undergraduate Degree) + Master’s degree PhD (qualify the holder for admission to a PhD program in the country where it was obtained)
