Mrs. Virginia Jiménez received his M.Sc. degree in Informatics Engineering (URL, 2015). She is currently a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science Department of the URL and a member of the Group of Research GRIDS of the same University. She is also an associate professor of the same department. Her research is focused on Concurrency Control in Large-Scale Distributed Systems and Replication Policies in Cloud-based Databases. In addition, she is currently participating in several research projects aimed at managing hybrid clouds.
