Francesc Miralles Torner

Francesc Miralles holds a Dean position at La Salle Campus Barcelona (Ramon Llull University). He obtained a Ph.D. from UPC (Barcelona) and an MBA from ESADE. Currently, he is lecturing in subjects related to IS Strategy, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, and Research Method.
Before joining La Salle - URL, he held a position of Executive Director in the Information Society Observatory of Catalonia (FOBSIC). For six years Francesc was professor at the University Pompeu Fabra Barcelona, where he held a Dean position and was involved in the implementation of several new programs in the Telecommunications studies at undergraduate and graduate level.
Dr. Miralles has been published in international journals and conferences and has authored four books. He participated in several international research projects. His current research interests are in the area of Networked Organizations, Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship, and Crisis Management.
He has also participated in several international research projects funded by the European Commission, the CYCIT (Spanish government), and the CENIT programme (Ministry of Science & Innovation).
Prof. Miralles was appointed for management positions in different firms and governmental agencies.
