Carles Garriga Berga
Dr. Carles Garriga received his BSc degree in Telecommunications in 1993, MSc degree in Electronics in 1995, a BSc in Business and Administration in 2005 and a PhD degree in Electronics in 2005. His interests are in artificial intelligence (fuzzy logic), robotics (human-robot interaction) and applied ethics. He is currently lecturer of electronics, member of the Research Ethics Committee of the Universitat Ramon Llull since 2012 and coordinator of grants at La Salle - Universitat Ramon Llull since 2013. He has a long experience in the management of more than 100 grants, some of them as a member of the coordinating entity of multi-partner projects, from which 8 have been FP7/H2020 projects and 7 have been other UE grants (ERASMUS+, LIFE+, etc.). In the past he has also been the responsible of the doctorate programme in Information and Communication Technologies (2006-20012) and member of the Research Commission of the Universitat Ramon Llull (2007-2019).
