The Media Technologies Department at La Salle -Ramon Llull University (Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain) uniquely merges all the aspects of media technologies, from multimodal processing (inlcuding speech, image and video), through acoustics, multimedia (computer graphics, animation and VR), multimedia communications (Digital TV, video over IP) up to user and experience evaluation.
We are a multidisciplinary team of about 30 researchers that, besides the teaching activities in Audiovisual Systems and Multimedia degrees, conduct research with a close relationship with the real needs of the industry. Our R&D activities are ISO 9001 certified and awarded by the Catalan government.
