Julia Sánchez es va llicenciar en Enginyeria Tècnica de Telecomunicacions (Especialització Telemàtica) al 2009 i en Enginyeria Superior de Telecomunicacions al 2014, totes dues titulacions obtingudes a La Salle - Universitat Ramon Llull de Barcelona.
Ha participat en projectes de R+D des de 2012 en temes com Ciutats Intel·ligents (Smart Cities), enginyeria de tràfic en xarxes MPLS, implementació d´IPv6, seguretat de Xarxes i ciberseguretat al núvol.
És professora de les certificacions CCNA i CCNP de CISCO des de l´any 2010 al Campus La Salle de la Universitat Ramon Llull.
