La Salle university centers work to offer excellent training that, rooted in the values of its mission and identity, is committed to linking technological learning with a broad and plural humanistic-based education. Along these lines, La Salle Centro Universitario Madrid and La Salle Barcelona - Universitat Ramon Llull celebrate 'Agora of Research and Education: I La Salle University Conference', a meeting organized jointly between the Madrid and Barcelona campuses to share reflections of their researchers and professors around the challenges posed by the growing and transversal fusion between technique and humanism.

The sessions of these days propose to stimulate a shared reflection on issues in the field of anthropology, pedagogy or bioethics, on the one hand, and artificial intelligence, digitalization or design, on the other.

This meeting was born with the objectives of promoting the climate of dialogue on differential aspects of research and teaching between the La Salle campuses that organize it; discuss the human challenges posed by technological advances; share innovative practices in the areas of contact between technology and humanism; and reflect on the implications and challenges that technological development poses for human training in the university environment. The organizing committee of the I Jornadas La Salle is made up of Dr. Armando Pego Puigbó and Hno. Dr. José Andrés Sánchez Abarrio.
