This lines focuses on the architectural project which is considered as the place in which the various subjects and architectural disciplines converge, as well as the means to expand the knowledge base on which the discipline of architecture is built. It embraces the following topics:
- Project-based research: Analysis of the design process, from conception to constructive detailing. Integration of technology (ICT, construction) throughout the design phases
- Design Methods and Processes: Case-based design, Performance-based design, BIM (Building Information Modelling), Integrated Practice, Component-based design), building component catalogues (Building product modelling).
- Architectural heritage: Documentation of the heritage of modern architecture to enable its protection and definition of restauration guidelines.
