Josep Martí Roca
Dr. Josep Martí, Chair Professor of the Ramon Llull University, has a honors degree in Physics from the University of Barcelona. In 1986, he obtained a PhD on Acoustical Catalan Study and Speech Synthesis from the University of Valencia. He was the President of the Olympic Committee for the Acoustic and Electro-acoustic Control of the Venues at the Olympic Games Barcelona 92. He has been Head of the Acoustical Section at La Salle Campus of the Ramon Llull University for several years. He obtained the AQU Accreditation for his activity in teaching and research at the Ramon Llull University where he was appointed Vice-Rector for Research and Technology Transfer, a position he held for 8 years. He currently works as a scientific advisor, professor and senior researcher in Acoustics at the Media Technology Department, of Campus La Salle, Ramon Llull University. His research lines involve the following issues: Speech Synthesis, Electroacoustics and Room Acoustics. Dr. Josep Marti has published several papers in national and international scientific journals
