A. López (Barcelona, 1977) obtained his degree in Electrical Engineering by La Salle School of Engineering Universitat Ramon Llull in 2002. He obtained his Master in Project Management by the same institution in 2003 where he is currently working towards his PhD Thesis on broadcasting networks and applications based on DVB and MPEG standards.
He has been working as a software engineer for the consultancy firm SchlumergerSema on satellite communication systems during 2001-2002. In 2002, he joined the Digital TV Center of La Salle School of Engineering in Barcelona, Spain, where he is currently working as Project Manager in the field of digital TV and DVB / MPEG standards specially DVB-H/-SH. He has published several scientific papers in conferences like IBC, ICME and SPIE.
