Conceptions of the Human Being in History. Four views on the human condition: Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, Heidegger, Scheler - 5 ECTS

It brings the student closer to some diverse and significant philosophical and anthropological reflections on the human condition that have decisively marked contemporary philosophy.

Religion and Culture. Three phenomenological approaches: Levinas, Marion, Lacoste - 5 ECTS

It introduces students to the question of "religion" as well as to the operability of the question of "God" in today's world from the works of some significant exponents of what has been called "the theological turn of contemporary French phenomenology": Emmanuel Levinas, Jean-Luc Marion and Jean-Yves Lacoste.

Philosophical Debates on Technology (5 ECTS)

This subject aims to introduce students, through the work of some significant thinkers, to contemporary philosophical approaches to the question of technology and the way in which they intervene in current debates on technology. It will also consider the extent to which the issues raised affect the image of the human being today, taking into account their cultural, theological and religious implications.
