Fundamentals & Inception (5 ECTS)

  • Best-known principles and methods (Scrum, Lean, Kanban and XP).
  • Facilitators and impediments.
  • Inception and agile project conceptualisation, agile prioritisation, user stories, Product Backlog development, prioritisation techniques.

Scrum and Kanban (5 ECTS)

  • Agile estimation and planning, Scrum framework, retrospectives,Kanban, agile metrics, agile physical tools, information radiators.

People and teams (5 ECTS)

  • People management, conflict management, motivation and incentives, shared facilitation, agile hiring, graphic facilitation.

Agile Product Management (5 ECTS)

  • Design thinking, Lean Start-up & Agile Product Management

Agile Engineering (5 ECTS)

  • User eXperience and prototyping in Agile.
  • ALM agile, eXtreme Programming, Software Craftsmanship, agile testing.
  • BDD and TDD. Test-guided development (acceptance and units).
  • How to work with legacy code and reduce technical debt.

End-of-Master’s Project (5 ECTS)

  • During the Postgraduate course, we will explore a practical case of introducing the course content at a company, and students will be organised into multidisciplinary teams of students using Scrum.
