The Master's Degree in Digital Arts and Creative Technologies explores the creative relationships between art, science and technology. It examines how they can communicate through an evolving interdisciplinary practice. With a vocation for international excellence, the program supports a wide range of cutting-edge experimental art practices.
During the “Master in Digital Arts and Creative Technologies" you will experiment with many media: light, sound, robotics, installations, AR/VR, digital environments, Artificial Intelligence, computational/algorithmic, game engines. The program offers an environment in which points are traded from complex social, cultural and artistic perspectives, where artistic creation is a testing ground for speculating on visionary ideas and media. Program candidates must be completely open to change - not only in the expansion of their practices - but also in the creation of new realities.
The master's degree, worth 60 ECTS, is carried out in face-to-face format, divided into two semesters, mixing the theoretical and practical parts indistinctly.
The program will take place at the IASlab, an immersive space in digital technologies that will study the growth of media content, art and digital entertainment, and will also be a lever for the evolution of other sectors through its experiences. A transversal and multidisciplinary environment in which all the elements that make up the ecosystem of La Salle Campus Barcelona dialogue: research, academia, companies, startups and other social agents.
